learn English playing Minecraft!
We offer 1-to-1 and group courses. They all include access to our Minecraft server, game-based learning materials and tutoring with a qualified tutor.
If you are interested in the courses all you have to do is click on the button below the course and contact us with the course you would like to book . We will look for a suitable time and date for our first session and give you all the details you need to join us!
You will need:
You first need to contact us on info@rylandenglish.com to discuss a time and date that is suitable and a payment link will be sent to you.
Once you have paid for the course you will receive another email with;
On the day of the first session we recommend students are ready 15 minutes prior to the start of the session.
We will open a videoconference and will provide support to log on to the server if there are any issues. We will also discuss any relevant points regarding the session.
We will need you to run the videoconference alongside the game so we can talk to you.
We will use the videoconference video and audio to guide the activities.
We do not require parents or guardians to be present for the sessions, but they are welcome to be there if they wish to do so. We only ask that they do not ‘give the answers’ or too many prompts, allowing the student to learn through ‘trial and error’ if necessary. This is a safe place where we can all make mistakes!! You cannot ‘break’ the game, so don’t worry.
